Proposal Ring

This picture was taken with my Canon EOS 30D. I borrowed macro lens from a friend of mine.

The story started when i go to Taman Anggrek, drop by on a jewellery shop and whoalllaaa… i bought a diamond ring for my GF.  Later this ring should be my proposal ring. While waiting the right time to propose, i plan to have this ring as my photo object. I never do a macro photography before, so this is my first!

Before the project starts, first,  i have to draw the blueprint on my mind

* i want the ring has a clear neutral white blinks (so, i need a white light-source), fortunately, i do have a white light.

* i want the light that reflected by the diamond could produce ke startlight, but i’m FAILED. hahahaha. I still practising for this. Let me know if any technique could help me to do this.

* i want a black background, so the whole picture, only the ring will be the only “object”. So i have a black t-shirt as the background.
